jesse_sealrocksI grew up in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States; a land where nature shows it’s beauty in many different and constantly changing ways. I currently reside in Troutdale, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest is one of the best places to live in the United states: the Columbia River gorge with all it’s lush waterfalls, the Mount Hood Wilderness area, Mount Rainier National Park, and the other nearby mountain ranges, as well as the wonderful coastline that stretches throughout Oregon and Washington. An area offering infinite photographic subjects that I try my best to depict with a serene, intimate style.

Around dawn and sunset, when the light is at it’s best, are my favourite hours to photograph. I also really enjoy the moments when harsh or somehow unusual weather conditions contribute to provide the scene with unique drama and mood. My aim is to deliver strong compositions, enticing colours, and haunting atmospheres.

While keeping my homeland as the main arena for my photography projects, a restless growing desire to travel has led me to start reaching out geographically, always looking for new challenging subjects to capture.
