Oregon has had an impressive amount of rain this June, receiving 80% of the normal rainfall for the entire month within the first 4 days. This created some excellent late spring waterfall conditions.
This image was taken deep in the gorge the day after some really heavy rain. It’s not an easily accessible location when the water is high; you have to forge a fairly wide creek a few times and work your way up the creek for a mile or so… These are the types of photos I prefer though. The photographs I have to work hard for are much more rewarding to me, than the usual roadside photos that are easily attainable.
And the result looks damn good even if you ignore the fact that you put so much effort into it.
Congrats!
